George Hughes – The Peaky Designer
Joining us fresh out of uni, George Hughes (no known relation to Rich Hughes) approached us in Summer 2017 and immediately impressed with a high quality portfolio, evident attention to detail and a winning can-do attitude.
Since joining the team he’s quickly proven himself and become our go to man for branding and print design projects, plus he’s quite a dab hand at website design too.
Out of work
As with his work, George is a man beyond his time preferring to listen to the likes of The Jam and Red Hot Chilli Peppers – if he’s not busy watching or playing football or pub sports that is!
Fun fact
Quite the impersonator, on a night out you’ll find George warbling Elvis Presley tunes on Karaoke or in the corner, flat cap on, doing his best Peaky Blinders impression…

In his own words…
“My time at Kensa so far has been really enjoyable working on everything from high end branding to wacky lumpy mail campaigns, one day is never the same as the next. I’ve been constantly learning exciting new things and expanding my skillset to keep up with the wide variety of projects, which Kensa have really encouraged.
The team are very friendly and have welcomed me into the team, offering to help when needed and popping for the odd alcoholic beverage from time to time. May let it continue! By Order of the Peaky Designer.“
