If you haven’t already, now is the time to invest in a mobile-friendly and responsive website. Google’s first incentive to increase results for mobile friendly websites was back in April 2015 and as of May 2016 Google have took their second step in updating their mobile search algorithm, that’s a page by page process of sorting through unresponsive/responsive websites to you and me! This will give higher google search rankings to mobile-friendly and responsive websites – meaning if your website has always performed well on google searches, but you haven’t updated your website – then it’s all about to change in the next few weeks/months as it’s all rolled out

A responsive website design will adjust accordingly to any size screen on any device, whether it be handheld or desktop, giving an optimum browsing experience to visitors of your website, and with Ofcom publishing in August 2015 that only 14% of all UK internet searches are now performed on the traditional desktop computer, don’t get left on the virtual scrapheap because of changes needed to your website that can be easily and affordably addressed.

Now if you still haven’t got a clue what I’m on about and how it may apply to you and your business, then whack your URL address into Google’s simple mobile friendly test HERE, which will tell it to you straight, not sparing any feelings!

People have very short attention spans these days, so if your website if difficult to navigate around, then it’s simple they’ll buy from your competitor who makes it easier for them. A mobile-friendly website isn’t just aesthetics it’s the difference between winning or loosing a sale, consumers are also far more likely to perform local searches from their smartphones – so it’s just as important for local SME’S (Small/Medium Enterprises) to get on the bandwagon too.

You’ll be surprised by how affordable it is to update your website and in comparison to what a bad website could be costing your business there really is no time to waste, get in touch today!
