Following the long (and ongoing) process of decorating our office we’ve turned our attention to the balcony – not only does it give us a nice view but it’s also somewhere to relax and think creatively on those rare occasions that the sun comes out.

Step 1: Adding some greenery

First off we had to clear away the existing weeds to make room for our vibrant new plants, courtesy of boningale nurseries.

Step 2: Somewhere to sit

We’ll need somewhere to appreciate the soon-to-be-scenic outdoors and this circular bench did just the trick. There was some assembly required…

Step 3: Adding more green (and some blue)

As pleasant as the wood and plans were we couldn’t not brand up the balcony to represent team Kensa – cue some large coloured pots and shrubbery, expertly planted by our resident closet green thumb Amy!

Step 4: Waiting for the sun

Now we’ve got a nice relaxing balcony all we need to do is wait for a nice sunny day to make the most of it… when we’re not too busy to take advantage of it… watch this space in 2016!
