Creating a distinctive brand identity for a software development agency.
While at first glance it may sound completely contrary to what we usually do when creating a brand identity, Inside the Box is based on a great concept and was a pleasure to develop.
It seems somewhat ironic that we were given complete creative freedom – to think as far outside the box as we liked, so to speak – when creating this identity, but after discussing the companies core values the creative direction really came into focus.
The underlying theme was the idea of ‘bringing everything back to basics’ – a lot of companies in the genre of computer programming often over complicate projects and ultimately confuse clients by thinking too far outside the box.
Inside the box is different in that they product simple, elegant solutions which fully meet their clients expectations. To support their company ethos they wanted a straight forward modern brand identity with a professional yet friendly look and feel.
The logo design we produced is a geometric interpretation of an open box in a distinctive green colour palette, once the client was happy with our design we evolved the branding and applied it across everything needed for their day to day business to create a consistent and professional brand identity.
