Brand identity and website design for a new playground installation and maintenance company
When Aceplay first contacted us they were in the very early stages of setting up their company, with minimal knowledge about marketing or online marketing or getting online they looked to us for some guidance and direction.
After an initial meeting to identify the key goals and ethos of the business we set upon creating a very bright and engaging brand identity which was friendly enough to make it clear they specialise in children’s playgrounds while retaining a level of professionalism that would appeal to their two largest primary customer bases – parents and councils.

As with all of our branding projects we created a wide selection of concepts ranging from safe and simple to out there and a little quirky to gauge the client wants to represent their company. Following another feedback meeting and a few iterations we had it – the AcePlay brand.
The next stage was to design and build their website, conceived as a ‘portfolio site’ it’s purpose is to showcase examples of their past achievements and some great playground installations along with a catalogue of the products AcePlay can provide, install or maintain.
As we had already been involved at the initial branding stage and had developed a good relationship with the team at AcePlay we immediately had a solid understanding of the direction they wanted to push the website along with the sort of look and feel that would work best. This made the development very efficient as we didn’t need to invest time getting to know the company – something which we believe is essential to successfully delivering effective marketing materials.

Of course no website is complete without a strategy for actually attracting visitors, from the outset we planned the site with a strong focus on SEO. As a result of our structured approach to building websites AcePlay achieved first page Google results for many competetive terms like ‘playground maintenance’ and ‘playground installation specialists’ terms within a few months of going live.
